Autodesk Demo

Maya Viewport 2.0 and Alembic Demo
A project I worked on for Autodesk to test their new file type, the Alembic caching system. It allows you to view billions of polygons in the viewport. We had one month to re-create a portion of Venice for them to test the new software. The final video is a playblast out of Maya using Viewport 2.0. The final product was presented at SIGGRAPH 2011.

My job on the project was UVing and texturing everything. I worked with two amazing modelers, Tobin Tse and Phil Shaw, and the project was overseen by Andrew Dayton and Josh Qualtieri from Pixar, as well as our Autodesk correspondent Kamal Mistry.
